This listing is for a PlayStation that has been restored and modified to make an excellent CD player. This model is the SCPH-1001, the original US release. It has very good sonic characteristics and a clean sound almost three decades after its release, due to the use of an AKM AK4309VM DAC for sound processing. Later models lost the high-quality DAC and the clean sound of the original. This unit, like the vast majority of first generation units, was made in Japan. The traces that originally connected the RCA jacks to the audio signal have been cut, so there is nothing remaining in the path of the audio after it leaves the DAC except the new wires. Aging solder joints can affect the video and audio signals and produce the dreaded you have to hold down on the connector in a specific way at a specific angle to get it to work that can arise from bad or old solder joints.All soldering on this console was done with high quality Cardas Quad Eutectic Silver Solder.The case has been retrobrited to remove the majority of the yellowing that is common on ABS plastic shells from consoles of this era.The disc lid detection switch that only allows the console to read a disc when the lid is closed has been removed and the contacts bridged so the console always reads the lid as closed. All connection points on the mainboard that make contact with the RF shielding have been re-tinned. INCLUDES:PlayStation consolePlayStation 2 DVD player remote and corresponding adapter. While the majority of it is non-functional on the PlayStation, it does allow you to play/pause (triangular button at the bottom), stop (rectangular button at the bottom), next track (R1), previous track (L2), fast forward (R2), and rewind (L2). When you power on the PlayStation with an audio CD inserted, it reads it and then goes to the CD player automatically, so all you need to do after it boots is to press start on the remote. No display is required if you dont want to use one.Power cord NOTES:The removal of the lid detection switch can cause issues with playback when switching CDs. If the console fails to read a CD when play is pressed after swapping, simply press the reset button on the console and let the console reload with the new disc. This takes only a few seconds.The functionality of the multi-out port is not guaranteed. I do not test for functionality of the multi-out video signal, and the modifications made to the audio path remove audio signal for the multi-out.

There, you will find out every detail about this amp. About all I can add is, this thing is built like a tank! It weighs close to 70lbs. All surfaces are smooth to the touch and feel very high quality. It sounds amazing and produces huge amounts bass without sacrificing the mid and highs. Its a pleasure to listen to through whatever speakers you have and also, headphone listening is unbelievable, the best Ive ever heard. This amp has the original tubes and they dont have all that many hours on them, probably less than 400, as I just dont listen to as much music as I used to. I bought this new in 2017 and it has been in my smoke-free house ever since. The only reason Im selling it is Im downsizing and easing out of the hobby. The amp will come with the original remote and paperwork and come in the original triple-box. Look at the pictures to judge condition and feel free to ask any questions. Im going to list this for one week only and I prefer local pick-up because shipping seems like it would be expensive and probably a pain in the neck. Betätigt man jedoch nur den linken powerswitch, wo oben drübersteht Half Power hat die Röhrenendstufe genau die Hälfte der Maximalleistung, also 17,5 Watt pro Kanal. Die rechte Leuchtdiode ist in diesem Modus nur halb so hell wie die linke. Diese Leistung bedeutet, der amp läuft jetzt in Triodenschaltung, welche viele Highender bevorzugt nutzen. Es ist auf jeden Fall genug Saft da, um meine 800er Matrix von Bowers & Wilkens mit ihren 93 dB Wirkungsgrad pro Watt und Meter locker anzufahren. Jeder kleinere Speaker ( und das sind die meisten ! ) mit einem schlechteren Wirkungsgrad istebenfalls mit der BEARD P.35 gut und leicht zu betreiben. Der Trafo und die zwei Übertrager auf diesem Gerät sind von außergewöhnlicher Qualität und tragen selbstverständlich dazu bei, den BEARD P.35 auf ein Niveau zu heben, welches viele seiner Konkurrenten nicht erreichen können. Er ist mit Biophotone und zwei Silbersicherungen in der Hauptversorgung gut genug gepimt, was natürlich auch leicht wieder rückgängig zu machen ist, wenn alles original sein soll. Aber warum Klangvorteile verschenken? Der Biophotone-Chip ist außen hinten am abnehmbaren Röhrenkäfig. Auch die Sicherungen sind auf der Rückseite von außen leicht zu erreichen und zu wechseln. Sieht man auf den Fotos. Sonst originaler Zustand. Falls jemand gerne wilde Sau spielt und deutlich über Zimmerlautstärke seine Lieblingssongs abhören möchte - genau dafür ist der rechte powerswitch da ! Nun leuchten beide Dioden gleichhell und der BEARD steigert seine Leistung auf 35 Watt im Pentodenbetrieb der EL 84 - Röhren. Nebenbei bemerkt sei, die EL 84 Röhren sind als reine Audioröhren entwickelt worden und sind vom Klang und der Auflösung her mit das Feinste und Beste, was man in einer Röhren-Endstufe einsetzen kann. Ich habe jedenfalls sehr viele schöne Stunden mit der BEARD P. 35 gehabt. Die Handynummer für mehr Infos zu den eingesetzten Röhren ist vom Besitzer, der gerne mehr Auskunft dazu geben kann als ich, ist : 015258515141. Da meldet sich mein Freund Chris Stöllger, für den ich seinen amp in meiner Kette quertesten sollte und nun anbiete. Er selbst hat 900 e€ dafür bezahlt - und sie ist jeden Cent davon wert !! Der amp kann bei mir in 31867 Lauenau auf ?? und Nieren getestet werden, oder bei Christoph in Hannover - Lahe. Falls ein Versand ohne persönliche Abholung und Tests vor Ort nach dem Verkauf gewünscht wird, werde ich mich darum kümmern, das recht schwere Gerät sicher und stoßfest zu verpacken. Der Versand wird 25 Euro kosten. Die Röhren werden alle gezogen und durchnummeriert und gesondert in einem anderen Karton mit viel Schaumstoff / Luftpolsterfolie gesichert versendet. Das Risiko der Beschädigung von so einem empfindlichem Röhrengerät auf dem Versandweg kann nie ganz ausgeschlossen werden und liegt daher allein beim Käufer. Daher empfehle ich eine persönliche Abholung, wo bei einem Käffchen alles ausführlich getestet werden kann und der Käufer sieht und hört, das alles seine Ordnung hat und wie beschrieben einwandfrei funktioniert.
