Cabinets and grills are also excellent. These are very efficient, and sound great with low power and tube amps. Ported for extra bass. The 108di sounds like a much more expensive speaker with deep tight bass and very clear midrange and treble. A 1998 “Soundstage” review of the 108di stated: “ … I’ve been around this game for about a quarter of a century and I cannot name another loudspeaker manufacturer who puts this much thought and technology into a speaker at this price point. Once you crack the $1000 price range, yeah, maybe you expect to get this kind of design and execution. Hi, Up for your consideration is VPI HW-19 with Rega Arm, as you can see from the pictures it is in perfect condition and works fine, the dust cover is real nice shape with no issues whatsoever, it also comes with the Optional Cloth Protective cover for it, it has a cartridge that seems to be working fine but I think a quality item like this could use a better one.
