Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Audiophile Turntable - used. Many Extras. This was a project turntable in the literal sense. I wanted to see how good I could make this sound. I swapped the original aluminum platter with an acrylic ($100), swapped the stock moving magnet cartridge with a Denon DL 110 moving coil cartridge ($400 and professionally installed), and added a Pro-Ject record clamp ($100). The result is the best sounding turntable you’ll find for under $2500. I just checked the belt speed and it’s spot on (it also comes with a new spare belt). I have the original box and packing materials. I recently upgraded, so I no longer need this turntable. Frankly, it sounds fantastic and someone will really get a kick out of this.
