Description
For sale is a complete, compact, audiophile grade audio system for two-channel music. This system consists of the following components: Condition Scale: 8/10 = Minor cosmetic flaws, perfect function. 9/10 = Like new cosmetically and operationally, 10/10 = New in the box or new open box.Douk ST-01 Tube Hybrid Amp (Identical to Aiyima T9)Pair of Klipsch Quintet V mini-monitor speakersPair of Monoprice 8 subwoofersMinix mini home theater PC (HTPC)USB DVD/CD drive3.5mm to stereo RCA adapter, plus 20 foot pair of RCA subwoofer cables.Pair of 18 gauge speaker wireThe only addons required for this system is a monitor or TV plus HDMI cable to view MS Windows on the HTPC. Though this system is designed for high performance audio on a budget, It can also be used as a two-channel home theater by running an optical cable from your TV to the Douk amp. Highlights of the components follow. Click on the links for more detail. Douk ST-01 Tube Hybrid Amp (9/10): A little giant slayer amp that offers the warmth and 3D soundstage of tubes, combined with the clean power of well implemented class-D amplification. It is an audiophile quality amp that simply costs less. The amp also includes a quality Sabre DAC from ESS. Its remote controlled and has multiple digital inputs, Bluetooth input, and one analog input. The Douk also has a 3.5mm stereo out that can be used to connect up to two subwoofers, and Ive included the cables for this. Though capable of 50WPC, expect 25 clean WPC which is more than enough to drive the included Klipsch speakers. I used the Douk/Klipsch combo for about a year and found it musically satisfying for 2 channel audio, which is all I could ask for. https://www.amazon.com/Channel-Bluetooth-Amplifier-Coaxial-Audio/dp/B09FPTJ6XD/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=17J687F4H6YUV&keywords=douk+st-01&qid=1685232428&sprefix=douk+st-01%2Caps%2C128&sr=8-1-spons&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFaVUk0RUZVRTFQSzQmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTAxODM4NjAyUUFXTDNTQ1NaRVA1JmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA3NjE2MzUxNjU0VU1WS1hBR1ZWJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ== Klipsch Quintet V Mini-Monitor Speakers (8/10): Amazing speakers that sound a lot like current Klipsch Reference Premier speakers in a compact package. They are very well built: Dense composite enclosure, injection molded graphite midrange driver, aluminum tweeter using tech from Reference Premier. Im not aware of any other speaker sized like the Quintet with its efficiency (91 Db/1M-1W). This means the 25 WPC Douk amp can drive these speakers to respectable levels without distortion. Sadly, the Quintet V is no longer sold by Klipsch and its current replacement is not built to the same standard. Be careful when researching Quintets. The prior four versions (I-IV) are sonically inferior to the V. IMHO, the V is the best Quintet Klipsch ever made. Note: There is minor cosmetic damage on the front of one speaker (see image). Its invisible either 6 feet away or with grill on (recommended) at any distance. The speakers include three hard-rubber feet not included from Klipsch. This will allow the speakers to sit level on any surface (they tilt up slightly without the feet).https://www.klipsch.com/products/quintet-v-home-theater-system-refurbished Pair of Monoprice 8 Inch Subwoofers (10/10): Great bang for the buck subs that I never used. Rated 4.5/5 by owners on Monoprices website. Can be used for music or home theater. They are best suited for use in small to mid-sized rooms. One sub is new in the box, and the other is new open box (opened for inspection, but never used-not even plugged in).https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=8248 Minix Mini Home Theater PC (HTPC-9/10): I bought this specifically for use as a audio source for the Douk amp. Theyre easily connected to each other via the included USB cable. This HTPC is compact (about the size of 6 stacked CD cases) and runs Windows 10. I cleaned the OS and updated it with lastest security patches just prior to packing. You should be able to upgrade the OS to Win 11 if you wish. I also included an old, yet effective version of J-River Media Center (JRMC) so you can manage most video and audio formats. You can get JRMC configured with no experience for basic use within 30 minutes, but very powerful video/audio customization if you wish. You can only use JRMC on the HTPC, and it cant be updated unless you buy the latest version. This HTPC is biased for A/V playback, not gaming. It has limited internal storage but can be easily added via external USB. Note that a USB CD/DVD external drive is included primarily to rip CDs, and JRMC can control the rips.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z4RNKWS/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Final Note: It will cost you over $500 to purchase all the components and cables Ive included in this package.
