Without the remote there isn’t a way to adjust neither the volume, nor the front and rear balance. You’re basically stuck with whatever those 2 settings were last set at. I used it for years, then stored many years ago. Cosmetically both the unit and remote are in excellent condition. I tested it by playing a DVD and then music CD and it still sounds great, with clear audio out of all 5 channels. I did not test the sub output; however the Base EQ worked great as well as the other controls. The IR remote control performs like new. This unit also has a built-in amp for the rear channels which I tested and it sounded better than I remembered. I couldn’t find any information regarding how may watts. Due to its age, sold as is. Selling a nice used working Fosgate Audionics 4 channel power amplifier. Amp has some scratches on the front that were touched up by the previous owner. Its mostly on the front faceplate on the inner part near the power switch. The pictures with the flash make it look worse than it is, its tough to see in normal daylight unless youre about 1-2 ft away. All channels function flawlessly, and sound phenomenal! This is a very detailed amplifier, the highs sound crystal clear and the bass is nice and crisp. Perfect for home theater, or bi amping a set of speakers.
