Audio-Technica AT14Sa Cartridge w/ Original ATN-14 Shibata Stylus This listing is for one used Audio-Technica AT14Sa cartridge. The cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter & the results are posted in two of the photos. The readings are very close & have a difference of less than 0.6%. The stylus is a used genuine Audio-Technica ATN14. It has a “nude” Shibata tip diamond & the tracking force is ¾ ~ 1¾ grams. The stylus is in very good condition, with many hours of playing time remaining. Cartridge Specifications: · Generating element: dual moving magnet · Frequency response: 5 Hz ~ 45 kHz · Output: 2.7 mV · Channel balance: 1.0 dB · Stylus shape: Shibata · Stylus construction: “nude” · Cantilever: tapered · Tracking force: ¾ ~ 1¾ grams · Cartridge weight: 5.8 grams Original replacement stylus assembly: ATN14 (burgundy) Since the cartridge was “checked” with an Ohmmeter, there are NO returns or refunds. If you have an issue with sibilance, it probably means that the cartridge/stylus is not a good match for your tonearm. Not that there is anything defective with this cartridge or stylus. Note: The cantilever (the thin silver tube which the stylus tip is mounted to) is the fragile part of the stylus assembly. The stylus needs to be handled carefully. If the buyer breaks or bends the cantilever when un-packaging, inserting the stylus assembly into the cartridge, or handling the cartridge once the stylus is mounted, I will not be held responsible. This includes while mounting the cartridge to your headshell. It is best to mount your cartridge somewhat loosely first. Then install the stylus. Once the stylus is mounted into the cartridge, adjust the cartridge for the correct overhang for your particular turntable.
