I have owned several ARC amps and the REF150SE is truly a stunning piece. This amp was purchased from John at The Audio Salon in the Biltmore Hotel in South Florida. The tubes included are the original tubes that came with the amp from Audio Research. There are 2519 hours on the tubes. KT150 tubes are quoted by ARC as being good for a minimum of 3000 hours and 6h30 tubes at 4000 hrs. The amp still sounds pristine! The unit is absolutely flawless in performance and is, with the caveat below, an absolutely stunning example. *NOTE: This amp is listed as NEAR MINT and the only thing preventing it from being MINT is shown in the picture with the blue circles around the three specs on the top edge of the faceplate (see pic for details). Owners tip: When checking the bias/voltage for each tube, there is a set of terminals used to check each individual output tube with voltmeter probes. Audio Research CA 50 Needs to be re-tubed. This unit brought me many hours of enjoyment. See reviews below. The unit comes with 4 Sovtek 6550. You will need to buy new matched 6922 driver tubes. The design is quite particular about the matched drivers for optimal performance and reliability. Best to use the matched sets from Audio Research as they are matched according to the AR specs. The output section is more forgiving. Please keep this in mind. I opened up the unit for photos. It comes with the top and bottom covers and feet.
