You are looking at a genuine Dual CS505-3 Audiophile Concept turntable. This is an unfinished project, ideal for someone to pick up and finish. As someone who deals in used hifi, I have 1 too many projects on the go as we head into winter, so this one sadly needs to go to someone else to complete. Where it is at so far: - 1. Main platter belt replaced 2. Pitch belt replaced for the twin belts 3. Plugged in, spins up, pitch adjusts Good bits: - 1. Dust cover is in tact, no cracks, hinges complete and function 2. All leads are undamaged 3. Arm, head, lifter etc all in nice condition 4. Mat is undamaged, no disintegrating etc Bad bits: - 1. No cartridge so I havent tested output 2. The speed control needs some attention - sometimes it changes, sometimes it doesnt. Switching mechanics need some adjustment or greasing. 3. Some baked on residue of previous sticky stuff on the back of the unit and on edges of the lid. Some isopropyl soaking should remove. 4. Some minor separation at the wood casing joints, see photos. Overall a nice turntable that needs some love and time to tinker and finish. Replace the cartridge, fix the speed mech and give it a good clean. LOWTHER 6MK1 AUDIOPHILE SPEAKERS DRIVERS. REASON FOR SELLING : I DONT HAVE TIME AT ALL TO DEAL WITH ANY MORE PROJECTS. NOW READ THIS CAREFULLY :-) : both suspensions on both drivers are replaced with new replacements less than a month ago coils on both drivers are perfect one driver just needs centering of voice coil assembly(easy job) the other one- see pictures- has its pivot taken out, screw on pivot is broken: will need screw taken out, pivot re-centered around magnet, voice coil centered it is fixable by someone whos got the patience and knowledge. what you see in the pictures is what you will get, including labels! PLEASE DONT BUY IF YOURE AN AMATEUR OR DON;T KNOW HOW TO FIX.
