Here’s another opportunity for a hobbyist with some repair knowledge to pick up a nice piece of gear. This is a Peachtree Nova 125 SE integrated amp that does everything but put out audio. It lights up, and you can toggle through all the functions and everything appears normal. I’m no technician, so if you are have a go at it. It has 125 WPC @ 8 ohms. Cosmetically, it’s piano black with light scratches, most of which you won’t see under normal light. Otherwise, it’s very clean. No remote or manual. I am the original owner and purchased the unit from an Authorized Dealer in Aug. 2019. I used it a few times per week until summer 2022 (at which time I upgraded to a Michi X5). This Peachtree produces very clear sound (less “warm” than a pure Class A amp).However, the Peachtree has a tube selectable pre-amp section, which adds just a drop of warmth. I like both amps but I dont need the two. In any case, the Peachtree is a great, basic integrated amp with tons of power (I hardly ever turned the volume up past 8 oclock). This model has 200+ watts. I had been running it into Elac Adante tower speakers. Smoke-free, child-free environment.
