Ascend Acoustics Sierra-2 bookshelf speakers Satin Espresso color MINT. I bought these Ascend Acoustics Sierra-2 (1st gen.) speakers in late 2018. They are in perfect condition, with no scratches. They look brand new. They sound really good and have never been played loud. I don’t listen to loud music. These were not taken apart and upgraded from the Sierra-1s. They are as they came from the factory. They will ship in the original double boxed configuration, with all the original packing material, and the original covers on the ribbon tweeters. Those were taken off and put on the proper way, by sliding, so as to not damage the tweeters. You will not be able to tell that these are not new speakers. They were always used with the grills on, so there isn’t even any dust on the drivers.

Ascend Acoustics HTM-200 Home Theater Monitor Speakers, Magnetically shielded acoustic suspension satellite loudspeaker. Designed, engineered, and Manufactured in the USA. These high end speakers are amazing! You can tell they’re quality as soon as you pick them up, they’re heavy, 9.3 pounds a piece! So shipping will be more. I auditioned them with my 90w Denon receiver and they handled power, crispy and clean all the way up. Wonderfully accurate sound reproduction from a small footprint. They’re not bass reproducers though, just mids and highs. These would be perfect for a stereo setup with the addition of a subwoofer. Or as they were designed and engineered, the front left and right speakers for a surround sound system.

The drivers are new as of November of last year. The finish is very durable and looks great. A matching center could be added for the right price. These sound fantastic with impressive bass, weighty vocals and detailed but not harsh treble. Only selling because I found a great deal on Ascend Towers. The stands can be included if picked up locally.

3x ASCEND ACOUSTICS CMT-340SE Signature Edition MINI-TOWER SPEAKERS (2 Front And 1 Center) with grills and jumpers. I happily used these speakers in my home theater, powered by a Denon AVR-x3300w (also for sale). The thing I liked the most about this setup was I didn’t feel I had to have a sub to round out the bottom frequencies. I ran these in speakers “full range” and the bass they delivered was clean, fast, and sounded great. Mids and highs are what people rav about when listening to these speakers (and the mids and highs are great) but I don’t know why more people don’t talk about how much punch these polygel woofers (with phase plugs) can deliver. These speakers come with dual binding posts, so you can bi-amp or bi-wire them, but they are so sensitive and easy to drive that I didn’t hear any improvement running them bi-wired. Nice that it is an option though, if you want to experiment with your amp configuration. These speakers have been gently used for years, and they do have some scuffs and scratches. However, it’s nothing that impacts their performance. All the cones and surrounds are in excellent condition. They sound really good. Please be sure the check out all the pictures. Also included are two pairs of heavy duty jumpers to bridge the binding posts for the front L/R speakers. The original gold plated jumpers from the manufacturer are also included, though I can only find five, so one is missing. Please note, one speaker has damage on the bottom where a bit of the vinyl wrap was pulled off but it is not visible and doesn’t impact performance.
