Built in 1972. Great used condition. Front speaker switches bypassed and both rear speaker external outputs are active. A frequent problem with 430s is the speaker switches corrode and burn. The contacts are poor. My rewiring is direct from the output stage of the amplifier direct to the external speaker connectors. The tape monitor switch is replaced for a similar reason with the same switch model but gold plated (will never wear out). This is from my collection of 30+ 430s which I am narrowing for a move. Other than this upgrade, this is a totally stock 430. This is 50+ years old, so it is being sold as-is. Serial Number: 57076

Great overall condition, and in beautiful working order. Pots and push buttons have been deoxited. Interior and exterior has been thoroughly cleaned. Tuning meter works fine. Great sound !!! In excellent working and cosmetic condition. All functions, lights, and controls work great. No cracking sound while turning knobs or switches. There is a hissing noise I have recently noticed in one of the speaker output channels. I dont know its root cause.
