This system is powered from its own small toroidal power transformer, permitting the p7 to be remotely switched in and out of standby via a 12-volt trigger input.The microprocessor continuously monitors the condition of each channel, including temperature, output current and dc offset, to ensure correct operation or instant shut-down under fault conditions.
