As such I honestly feel that although others do indeed have their strengths (e.g. more than 7 channels of amplification built in, on-screen GUIs, more intuitive set-up and calibration proceedure etc.), the Arcam range of AV receivers are simply a cut above the rest in relation to pure audio reproduction. This is especially true when it comes to musicality and is down to the design, construction and use of high-grade parts. When coupled with Dirac Live I believe their performance is unrivalled.
