It makes considerable use of the experience gained with the AV8 to offer the feature set and audio performance required in today’s demanding AV marketplace.The feature set is expected to include support for just about all current audio decoding algorithms, including Dolby Digital EX, DTS24/96 and the upcoming Dolby Pro Logic IIx 2 to 7 channel decoder. The video path supports both component and European RGBS video, and includes up-conversion from composite or s-video to component video to help minimise the number of cable runs to a display. Three component video inputs are available, all with sufficient bandwidth for HDTV. Arcam AVR300 Home Cinema Receiver/Amplifier. Bought in apx 2004 as part of a surround sound cinema set up this was a wonderful amp. It was repaired in apx 2010 and whilst I believe it is still working it was last used in 2014 do I can’t guarantee it is still operational. It is therefore better to assume it is for parts, just in case.
