Ampex Tube preamplifier control center from the late 1950s-early 1960s out of a Crescendo console This model has been listed as a 402 and a 403, cant confirm either The Ampex mono blocks are gone, sorry All inputs tested, everything functions fine, used for several months A Denon DP-62L turntable with an Empire 2000Z cartridge was plugged directly into it and the sound was distorted, so a line level adjustable phono preamp was added which worked perfectly and sounded impressive Never recapped, all Mullard tubes, 3 X 12AX7, 1 X 12AU7 Pots and switches are clean, interior is clean Face plate and knobs are in good shape Tan surrounding frame has some scuffs in the paint Power cord is a little stiff, but not cracked or damaged With proper maintenance and setup this preamp should work fine for awhile Being a used piece of electronic equipment, it is offered as-is with no returns Free FedEx shipping
