I have recently upgraded my turntable and speakers and as a result I am selling my trusted set up for the last 10+ years. This is getting sold as a job lot so I am not going to split, or sell items separately. This is for collection only and I am based in Greenwich London. Parking is free and loads of space outside. Access to the lift very close for ease too.I just wanted a great set up to play my vinyl and this is truly fantastic in regards to sound quality. The speakers are also ideal for my home recording as theyre great studio speakers. I wont be accepting returns/refunds. But happy to answer any questions, but please bare in mind I am not very techy. None the less I can try to answer. You can see the video of the speakers and Denon amp working by me connecting my phone to play music through them. ***vinyl records not included in the sale*** Rega Planar 1 (faulty)The Rega Truntable has recently stopped working. When turned on I can tap the needle and hear it coming through the speakers. But the belt is not turning. I am not clued up on such things, but as a guess it might need a new motor. Again I am not sure and only guessing what could be wrong. However maybe this can easily fixed, or even used for parts. Spirit Absolute 2 These are working perfectly! I will include the speaker wires too. Amplifier power ratings of up to 100 Watts RMS can be used. Connection to Absolute 2 is by high quality terminal which will accept bare wires, 4mm bannana plugs or 6mm fork terminals. Bi-wiring of the HF and LF connections can be made by removing the shorting links supplied and using two sets of cables from the amplifier. This will improve sound quality slightly by reducing the interaction between the drivers in the region of the crossover frequency. All working well, record player comes through at slightly lower volume than the other inputs Both speaker channels working well Headphone socket tested and working well Balance, bass and treble all working well. Some marks/ knocks along the top front edge of unit, some light marks and scuffs to front of unit and some wear on the ends of knobs.
