Beyerdynamic Amiron Home Wired Headphones. Absolutely awesome, incredible value and quality. I’m using the same in the studio and I’ve bypassed T5P and T1 to get here. Planar headphones out of the picture (different animals), beyerdynamic is the only serious competitor in this price range, that’s my 2 cents. The only thing is that you need to know what you want. T1 feels too intense, T5P is with closed back, you loose the openness, this Amiron home… I think these are the best for my taste at least. It’s 250 ohm much more that the 30 most have and perfect for home. The bass and soundstage is the best I’ve tried so far. The best part though it’s the openness, that’s what makes it stand out. It’s all what T5P is, plus with openness and relaxed feeling, no pressure in your ears. I even do mixing for hours and I don’t get tired. Beyerdynamic Amiron needs amplification. Any decent sound card will do, I’m using apogee and it’s singing. Off studio for the armchair I’ve got the beyerdynamic Impacto Universal, which is tiny like an accessory on the wire and powerful enough. It was designed after all for this Tesla drivers line of beyerdynamic. Once more, this pair ain’t used, have a look at the photos they’re part of the description., they’re brand new. I purchased this pair of headphones brand new from Audio Affair in late December and they have been used for no more than an hour prior to boxing them back up. They are still very much as new and come with all of the original packaging. Selling as I have too many headphones and these simply wont get used.
