AKAI AT-2250L VINTAGE RETRO 1970S STEREO AUDIO HI-FI TUNER This is a beautiful vintage Akai AT-2250L Stereo Tuner. Its a lovely looking, heavy and highly regarded silver unit from the late 1970s - back when hi-fi components were built like tanks. With its solid aluminium faceplate and illuminated tuning band and meters, this would make a gorgeous addition to any retro / vintage hi-fi rack. It has been in storage for a while but I powered it up today and it locked into an AM station fine, I could not test FM as I have no external aerial for it, and you will need to source one if required. The faceplate is in good condition with just a few light marks as a result of age, and there is some light tarnishing is visible on the push buttons.
