Silver Akai AM-U1 Stereo Integrated Amplifier. Classic and nearly 40 years old. Tested with speakers etc about 12 months ago and fully working. As I have now sold the other separates that I would have tested this with I am only able to power up now to test, but it was all fine and working previously. As per photos has scratches and marks on top, and there are a couple on the front as well so please review before you buy. Im not pretending this is in any other condition than what you should expect for a 40 year old used piece of kit that went through teenage years, university, and multiple house and flat moves before finding a nice safe storage place for the last 20 years or so! Has speaker connections at the back for the old speaker wires, plus phono (record deck), tape (record and play / in and out), tuner, and an auxilary that would last have had a DVD player connected up. Due to weight will be collection only. No box, and no connecting wires other than mains.

Akai AM-U110 AMPLIFIER And AT-K110L Tuner separates. Not sure how old but Im guessing early 90s. Both working as they should do. Some minor marks on the cabinets and the amp on off switch needs putting back in as it has pulled out at the top but still works properly.

LEDS FOR SIGNAL STRENGH, STEREO AND TUNED. ALL WORKING GREAT AS IT SHOULD COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL FM ARIEL AND AM/LW LOOP ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------STEREO AMPLIFIER MODEL NUMBER AM-U110 2 CHANNEL STEREO INTERGRATED AMP FOR A SIMPLE OPERATION, SLIDERS FOR BASS AND TREBLE, VOLUMS KNOB. DEFEAT AND LOUDNESS SELECT SWITCHES WITH TAPE, TUNER, PHONO AND AUX INPUTS AND HEADPHONE INPUT. I DO NOT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE TO EVEN ATTEMPT IT BUT AS YOU CAN SEE IT FROM THE PICS IT DOES POWER UP. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THIS IS A LOVELY LITTLE SYSTEM THAT ONCE BELONGED TO MY LATE GRANDPARENTS. I HAVE HELD ON TO THIS FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS AND I FEEL IT WOULD BE BETTER GOING TO SOMEONE WHO APPRECIATES THE OLDER STYLE HIFI AND WILL ENJOY IT. THIS IS AROUND 40 YEARS OLD SO AGE RELATED PITTING TO THE CASING (BEING HONEST) COMES WITH THE CHARM OF THIS AND SHOWS HOW HONEST THIS SYSTEM IS. THIS DOESNT LOOK BAD AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES BUT WOULDNT TAKE MUCH TO GIVE IT A SAND AND RATTLE CAN PAINT IF YOU REALLY WANTED TO, IT DOES NOT COME WITH THE SPEAKERS, THESE WERE TBH PAST THEIR TIME AND WAS RECYCLED. AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER I HAVE NEVER KNOWN THERE TO BE A RECORD PLAYER WITH THIS EITHER. THIS A GREAT 80S RETRO HIFI THAT ARE NOW BECOMING RARE. IT HAS ALL BEEN TESTED, WORKS AND SOUNDS LOVELY APART FROM THE POSSIBLE TAPE MOTOR ISSUE WHICH COULD BE A SIMPLE FIX. A GREAT HIFI FOR THE COLLECTORS OUT THERE. I AM GOING TO SAY THIS HAS TO BE PICK UP ONLY, I WOULDNT WANT TO RISK THIS BEING DAMAGED IN POST AND ALSO PAYMENT IN CASH OR BANK TRANSFER ON COLLECTION PLEASE.
