These were carefully removed from a Roberts 720 the same as many other Roberts and Akai reel to reel recorders. I it is the same as the Akai M-7. They may work in other Roberts & Akai machines. They are in great condition with no cracks or issues. I purchase vintage reel to reel recorders, then carefully remove the parts to sell on eBay. Powers up, spools turn, etc - operates on Play, Rewind and Fast-Forward Wooden case with wooden cover This model features a built-in amplifier and speakers - it can also be connected to an external amplifier. It has not been tested with tape - I dont have any tapes for testing. It will need a service if you intend to use it - it will need the pinch roller and heads cleaning etc. The VU meters require a new bulb. Reasonable clean cosmetic condition.
