Aiwa AP-2200 Vintage Turntable from 1978. A really lovely vintage Aiwa turntable from the days when Japan really knew how to make them. In superb cosmetic condition and producing a lovely sound through my Rega IO and Wharfedale 220s. A few tiny age related marks and the front right hand foot is a little cracked. Unfortunately there are no hinges for the lid which also has a tiny piece missing at the back, but the lid itself is still in great condition. I’ve spent an hour or so polishing it and there are no real visible marks. I have seen after market hinges on eBay occasionally and knackered turntables for spares or repair where you could buy it just for the hinges but it’s never really bothered me. Comes with a highly rated Shure M70B stylus and the original headshell. Collection only but can be seen working.

Selling this and my Audio Technica LP120 to fund bikes for my two kids, my sole turntable now an Aiwa AP-2200 (funnily enough) I picked up cheaply and am having serviced and refurbed ????
