About three years ago, I bought this cassette player as NOS from a guy in Germany. Quite a few folks grabbed one from the same stockpile, actually. Altogether, Ive used this unit only a couple dozen times, and only at home. I tested it for this listing, and it works fine, but considering its age (32 years?), it might need servicing at some point. If you have the right equipment to test the sound output, you might find that these parts do need replacing, but to my ear, it was not necessary. On request, Ill also send the buyer a digital copy of the service manual, though I believe you can find it yourself via the forum thread linked at the beginning of this description, or at AnalogAlley.com To reiterate: this bundle is being sold as-is. I think this player is in great condition for its age, and it seems to work fine, but also, I cant guarantee that it wont need servicing at some point.

Vintage 1988 Aiwa Walkman cassette player HS-PC202. Does not come with headphones. I don’t think it has ever been used. A bit dusty from years of storage. Comes with all original packaging. The box has a couple of tears. Carry case included and 2 battery adapters one for AAA batteries and one for rechargeable battery. Selling as NOT tested and cannot guarantee working. NO RETURNS
