Audio Agile Joker’s CD - audiophiler CD-Player auf Marantz-Basis - in mäßigem Zustand! Der hessische Hersteller Audio Agile, heute nur noch „Agile“, gehörte in den 1990ern zu den erfolgreichsten Newcomern auf dem deutschen Hifi- und Highend-Markt. Das Programm orientierte sich lose an britischem Hifi-Design und versuchte dies mit besonderer handwerklicher Qualität zu kombineren. Neben puristischen Zweiwege-Lautsprechern war besonders der „Step Amp“, auch als reines Class A-Gerät angeboten, bei Kunden und Presse äußerst erfolgreich. Ab Ende der 1990er bot Inhaber Björn Langlie zusätzlich eine preiswertere Baureihe unter dem Namen „Joker“, später „Joker’s“ an. Auch hier achtete man auf erstklassige Verarbeitung und hohen Anspruch. Der Jokers CD-Player beruht auf einem modifizierten Marantz CD-53 MK II und ist wie dieser mit einem Philips CDM12.1-Laufwerk und dem SM5872BS DAC bestückt. Minimale Ausstattung am Gerät, aber umfassend fernbedienbar über herkömmliche Fernbedienungen mit Philips RC-5 Code. Grundsätzlich funktioniert der CD-Player recht gut, sowohl mit originalen CDs wie auch mit CD-Rs. Gelegentlich kommt es aber zum Springen/Skippen am Ende einer CD. Meist wird aber alles sauber abgespielt, selbst gebrannte und stark zerkratzte Exemplare. Liest schnell ein und scheint grundsätzlich sehr gut zu funktionieren. Der optische Zustand ist auch nicht mehr schön. Der Vorbesitzer hat die - lediglich geklemmte - Display-Abdeckung offenbar mit Sekundenkleber (von aussen!) zu verkleben versucht, dabei Front und Display-Abdeckung übermäßig mit Kleber bedeckt. Der Kopfhörerausgang - Buchse samt Befestigung - fehlt komplett, die Anschlussbuchsen an der Rückseite sitzen etwas schief in ihren Bohrungen. Kratzer und deutliche Gebrauchsspuren, Dellen an der Oberkante der Front. Netzkabel liegt bei, kein weiteres Zubehör. Ausdrücklicher Verkauf als defektes Bastlergerät!
