This listing is for an ADCOM GTP-500 Preamp/Tuner with a working remote and an ADCOM GFA-535 amplifier. The GTP-500 was recently service, in part to realign the FM radio section. The remote works as it should and the phono section of the GTP-500 has been tested. There are also no issues with the GFA-535 besides some face plate wear. This combo is very heavy but ships free. ADCOM GTP-500 II preamplifier with tuner and original remote control, FM Tuner only had static, could not pick up stations

Adcom GTP-500 II tuner/preamp and GFA-535 power amplifier. Also for sale on US Audio Mart, so this listing is subject to prior sale and may be removed at any time. Just removed from office system and fully tested. All lights, buttons, switches, and knobs on the preamplifier operate perfectly and smoothly. All inputs including the excellent phono stage are fully operational (we did not listen to the tuner, but the display is clear and the scan/seek functions operate). The power amplifier produces clean output with no noise, hum, or distortion of any kind. Cosmetically, the units are in very nice shape with minor signs of age. The amplifier has a tiny nick on the top right edge of the faceplate as shown in photos. The preamp has a few minor scuffs on top edge that have been touched up. All of the lettering on both front and rear panels is intact and legible with no fading. We do not have the remote for the preamp but used a universal remote. Will ship both units in separate boxes via insured FedEx Ground for a flat $68 in the CONUS ($34 per box). If the actual shipping cost is less we will refund the difference. There are no returns on vintage audio equipment, but we describe all items accurately.

For Repair or parts... I plugged it in, it turns on but I was not able to get sound out of it.. the top of the lid has some surface wear on it see photos. Sold as is

With a reputation of fine audio gear at reasonable prices, this Adcom preamp lives up to its name. Fully tested, the tuner is very good, and the Phono section also is very capable. We cleaned all pots and switches, and then treated them with Deoxit F5 and D5 respectively. Physically, the unit has numerous scuffs, and scratches on the top, sides and bottom. On the right side of the faceplate, and the top front right corner, there are spots of an unknown substance that dried onto the unit. We were unable to remove the spots, so we just left them. See pictures for further details on the physical condition of the preamp. We dont have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams. ADCOM GTP-500 pre-amp/tuner. Pretty clean unit with low shelf wear. Turns on with displays showing AM/FM channels. All lighted buttons appear to work. Note: Tuner locks in stereo stations (3 shown) and appears to function. Right channel seems to work, but left channel is out. Not fully tested. I have copy of repair manual (included) for those who would like to trace circuit (left JFET amplifier) may be the issue, which is common repair on this model. In original packaging but outer box is not in great shape. Sold as is for parts or restoration with no returns. Ask questions and look closely at pictures.
