I’m am selling my baby! Was barely used, works great without any problems. Sounds awesome like no other amp. I recorded a video, please watch it. There is SO MUCH POWER IN THIS BEAST! It also weighs a ton. Cosmetically, it is in good condition given its age. Please check the pics, pics are part of the description of the cosmetic condition. THE TIP OF THE POWER SWITCH IS BROKEN BUT IT DOES NOT INTERFERE WITH THE POWER ON OFF AND WORKS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS AS THERE IS ENOUGH LENGTH LEFT TO OPERATE IT. IT IS ONLY SLIGHTLY SHORTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. I INCLUDED A FEW CLOSE UP PICS AND ALSO RECORDED IT IN MY VIDEO. This beast is going to be professionally boxed in a 200 lbs rated box. ADCOMGFA-5802 AMP and GFP-750 PREAMP (ADCOM FLAGSHIPS):These are considered to be the best amp and preamp that Adcom has ever produced, and the examples offered here are in pristine condition. GFA-5802 AMPLIFIER: The Adcom GFA-5802 is a High Current MOSFET amplifier designed by the legendary Nelson Pass. It is the best example of the companys effort in stereo amplifiers. It has balanced and single-ended inputs, with two pairs of sturdy gold binding posts per channel (for bi-wiring, if desired). 300Watts per channel into 8 ohms, 450 Watts into 4 ohms. This amp can handle any speaker. Bass control is superb and the overall sound is detailed and transparent. GFP-750 PRE-AMP: Also designed by Nelson Pass, also utilizing MOSFET architecture. This is a purely analog preamp. It can be used in passive mode (i.e., it will function as a “straight wire with attenuation”) or it can be used as a conventional line stage preamp. It has balanced and single-ended inputs and outputs. Note: This GFP-750 preamp is the BLUE CIRCUIT BOARD version. This BLUE circuit board preamp is considered superior to the RED circuit board version that was produced later on and at a different facility. More information about this is available online. This amp and preamp set comes with the original factory remote control with new Duracell batteries installed. These original remotes sell online by themselves for $100 (each). Heavy-duty power cords and manuals are also included. The amp and preamp will be shipped in separate boxes. The $195 shipping price covers both of these heavy boxes. I have 2 identical amp/preamp sets available. Each set is in pristine condition and each set will come with the same accessories. These are extraordinary examples of Adcoms GFA-5802 amp and GFP-750 preamp. All components were recently removed from climate-controlled storage in my pet- and smoke-free home.
