The audio inputs utilizes two high-quality, gold plated brass RCA jacks using Teflon insulation to minimize high-frequency losses, noise, etc. The speaker connections are of high-grade binding-post terminals that accommodates either bare speaker wire, terminal pins, or banana plugs, both single or dual.The ADCOM GFA-545II is polarity correct. It does not invert phase it outputs as compared to the input signals. The power cord of the ADCOM GFA-545II is a polarized AC plug.The AC On/Off switch is located to the front of the ADCAOM GFA-545II amplifier with a red LED indicating if the power is on or off to the amplifier.There are distortion alert LED indicator on the front panel to indicate forms of non-linear distortion such as THD, IM, slew-induced, clipping etc. There is also a thermal protection LED to indicate if the heatsinks for the output power transistors are overheating and that the amplifier has gone into protection.
