Can almost pass as in new condition.The Realistic WeatherRadio Alert is a very simple, three button NOAA weather radio receiver. From the user manual:Your REALISTIC WEATHERADIO ALERT is specially designed to receive weather reports broadcast 24 hours a day by the National Weather Service. Special stations provide most of the United States with continuous news of weather conditions and forecasts; your Weatheradio Alert receives their transmissions from up to 50 miles away! These stations operate at 162.550, 162.475, or 162.400 MHz. In addition to reception of weather information, this radio incorporates a special alarm circuit that sounds when an emergency weather situation exists. The local National Weather Service transmission broadcasts a special signal that triggers this circuit automatically. The built-in siren alarm operates at full power regardless of the volume control setting and is ready to be triggered anytime the red standby LED is lit.
