This is the original headshell taken from an Acoustic Research XA Turntable. The plastic steps locking the collar socket are stripped down so it is not working and you will need to repair the plastic steps before it can be locked into the collar socket again. All the wires and connections are checked based on a continuity test using a multimeter, and they are working fine. There are three cracks on one of the screw holes. You will need to repair that as well so a cartridge can be properly mounted onto it. Other than these issues, the headshell is in overall good condition. The headshell can be used in Acoustic Research XB turntable as well. The headshell is being SOLD AS IS for REPAIR/PARTS, NO RETURN. It will be packed well to ensure safe arrival to destination.
