Acoustic Research Powered Partners 570 amplified Speakers IOB. Great sounding self amplified speakers. Have been tested and sound great. These are quite heavy (10 pounds each) and have only minor scuffing. All controls working as they should, no static. Surprisingly good bass with these speakers. Includes power cords for each unit and RCA jacks with mini plug (I tested them using my iphone). Will be packed in original box and then boxed again to keep them safe on shipment. Nice solution if space is an issue and no room for another amplifier. Note: while you can hook these up to a turntable, you would still need a pre amp! Up for auction is a pair of Acoustic Research (Advent) Powered Partners 570 speakers. Front labels say Advent, rear labels say AR, take your pick. Work and sound excellent. Controls all work nicely but both amps have a mild turn-off thump- I had a pair of Advent Powered Partners AV570s that did the same thing so it seems its part of the design. Original AC cords included. Cosmetic condition is good- theres general wear on the sides but both fronts look pretty good. Offered AS IS. Please check the photos to judge condition. Shipping (its a bit high as these speakers are well-built and quite heavy) only within the lower 48 US states. Local pickup welcome. Thanks for looking.
