a stunning sound and i ,,have put them on a sale price.. . u wont find a pair again VINTAGE Acoustic Research AR-2aX Speakers WITH STANDS fully tested and clean i just added a new vid on fb with the speakers set up with a nice top end amp in my front room a set off unmolested speakers . that still sound as good as if they came out the shop yesterday. i find them in a old man library . and they have not been used for over 30 years . i buy from the son . who was dealing with his late dads passing away and had been ill and in a home for 30 years . they was his proud & joy . he loved his hifi . and you can see buy the photos . it has been looked after . i say the cases are 9 out off 10 . have some small marks . but a easy fix and the speakers inside are 10 out off 10 . and the stands are the right wons to . you just dont find them like this , it is a time warp if your a bit off a hifi nut as i am . you find just the speaker cases sale for 200 to £300 plus with no speakers inside them . you will find . and as for the stands a hard find and 200 to 300 plus . and clean speakers and stand . that why i set a good price some details and please read all the listing and there a vid on fb or i can send one . a stunning sound and i ,,have put them on a sale price.. . u wont find a pair again VINTAGE Acoustic Research AR-2aX Speakers WITH STANDS fully tested and clean i just added a new vid on fb with the speakers set up with a nice top end amp in my front room a set off unmolested speakers . that still sound as good as if they came out the shop yesterday. i find them in a old man library . and they have not been used for over 30 years . i buy from the son . who was dealing with his late dads passing away and had been ill and in a home for 30 years . they was his proud & joy . he loved his hifi . and you can see buy the photos . it has been looked after . i say the cases are 9 out off 10 . have some small marks . but a easy fix and the speakers inside are 10 out off 10 . and the stands are the right wons to . you just dont find them like this , it is a time warp if your a bit off a hifi nut as i am . you find just the speaker cases sale for 200 to £300 plus with no speakers inside them . you will find . and as for the stands a hard find and 200 to 300 plus . and clean speakers and stand . that why i set a good price some details and please read all the listing and there a vid on fb or i can send one . This is a pair of Acoustic Research AR-2aX Speakers. The cabinets are in good, used condition, as you can see in the pictures. We hooked them up and they sound absolutely great. They were purchased by an avid audiophile and they come from his estate. These efficient speakers are a great match for tube amps. Upper frequency reproduction is smooth and transparent, while the bass response is deep and tight. You really need to hear them to appreciate them. The serial numbers are #006491 and #006494.
