When you press the open button to load a CD, the drawer will not open; with the cover off I nudged the drawer from the back and after the first little bit the drawer will continue to open the rest of the way. The drawer does close by itself when I press the button. Sometimes when I load a CD, the player does not recognize it and refuses to play. Other times, it will play but sometimes skips. The buttons on the front seem to work when playing. Physically, the player looks pretty good.
