One owner estate sale find back in the summer with other Hafler and high end stereo components. Good vintage condition. It does have rack wear to top. Fully tested and working with a caveat. The issue I have with it is, sometimes when I turn it on, only one of my speakers will have sound. I can fiddle with my speaker wires to get both speakers to work but have to have the speaker wires at just the right angle/position otherwise both of my speakers won’t produce sound. I troubleshot by swapping fuses from L to R, swapping wires, testing with another preamp, other speakers. It is an amazing amp but I just can’t bump the speaker wires or it they will crackle and glitch and I’ll lose sound. I’m not sure if it needs to be cleaned, or if the issue comes from my Hafler 110 pre-amp as I don’t have any further way to test. If you have any bright ideas, I’m happy to investigate.
