Kenwood 700C Preamplifier. Excellent cosmetics. Works well. Exceptional sound quality. Probably the finest preamplifier Kenwood ever made. Weighs 23lbs. Measures: 17 wide x 14 deep x 6 tall. In the last year the following restorative work was performed; All seven boards were recapped. All capacitors used were Nichicon audio grade. All problematic 2SC1451 transistors were replaced/upgraded. Power supply was calibrated and relay replaced. The Loudness control does not work. Everything else does. The original pot had failed, and direct replacements havent been available for many years. The best replacement that could be found enables everything else to work except the loudness function.
