This is a Denon DRM-650S is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B/C/S and HX-Pro noise reduction, first sold in 1995. It features 2 heads, digital tape counter with 4 digits, tape type selection and is capable of handling normal, chrome and metal tapes. It has a belt driven single-capstan transport. This deck has been extensively tested and it all appears to work as new. It has some very light wear but is in excellent shape despite being nearly 30 years old. Welcome to my listing for my superb condition Denon DRM-650S cassette deck. This is a superb high end deck from Denon and it is very rare to find one of these in such good cosmetic condition as this example. Before I describe the deck, I must mention that it has a channel imbalance, in that the left channel output is very quiet. Im sure this would be an easy fix for someone with the knowhow. Apart from this issue, it is in amazing condition throughout. This deck means business and is a joy to use. It sounds absolutely incredible on both playback and recording. With Dolby B, C and S onboard, you can make amazing clear and beautiful recordings in your own home that are exceptionally faithful to the original source. Please take a look at the pictures to see just how great condition this Denon is in. There is one light surface scratch on the left hand side of the screen but its hardly noticeable. This deck looks gorgeous and sounds even better.
