From the estate of the original owner is a very original working at time of listing Vintage Canadian Westinghouse Model 576 table radio. There is a bit of a story about this radio which I can share with the winning bidder. According to the Canadian Radio Museum it was manufactured in 1945/46 only. It is off white or cream in color with Bakelite case, original knobs and speaker cloth. It has the Canadian government message on the back cover with the CSA Decal intact. It brings in our local AM stations easily without a external antenna wire. There is a clip provided for a antenna wire. It measures 8 3/4 wide x 5 3/8 high x 4 /5/8 deep and weighs 74 oz. It warms up quickly, but does have a slight hum when playing, The light for the dial is working. The existing original power cord should be replaced. Case condition is excellent, a few tiny marks, but it is 78 YEARS old. Please see the pictures for detail and condition, what you see is what you will receive.
