Here is the way to buy vacuum tubes cheaply (generic tube type shown in picture). My goal is to sell you good vacuum tubes at a very low price. Here is my method: You are purchasing a lot of two tubes of the same type; tubes are all vintage in boxes (box may have been repaired).The box may or may not be original to the tube. Some of the tubes are used and some are new. The tube type you are buying is the type in the item TITLE, not the tube in the picture. The picture of the tube testers is not part of the auction. The tubes you will receive are not pictured with this listing...the tubes pictured are just a generic tube picture. All tubes will be checked as good on an emission type tube tester. Any tube testing borderline will not be sold. All tubes will be identifiable by their markings (you may have to look closely). The two tubes are not being sold as a matched pair; I am unable to honor requests to match tubes. I am unable to honor requests for specific manufacturers or to match tubes for manufacturer. International sales: shipping rates will be higher. Shipping to addresses in the USA will be at a flat rate of $4 for the each item (that is, for the two tubes). Because of my very low selling and shipping rates, there is no discount on shipping if I ship multiple items to you together...think of it as a $2 shipping charge per tube. You will be getting a good deal. The same low flat shipping rate applies to addresses anywhere in the USA including Hawaii and Alaska. Tubes will be shipped in their boxes in a small padded envelope marked FRAGILE, not a shipping box. Returns on used vacuum tubes cannot be offered, because unscrupulous buyers will return their burned out tube and ask for a refund, then they wind up with a free good tube. Unfortunately, some people will do this. I ask that you trust that I am testing the tubes and that I ship only working tubes, tubes that I would use myself. I want you to be happy. I am an Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator. Those experienced with vintage electronics know that different individual tubes of the same type that test fine on a tube tester may behave differently in the same circuit.
