A very good, livelier tube. Carefully tested for transconductance, shorts, gas, life. No tube is sold that has any gas, leakage or fails life and strength tests. The Triplett 3444 is one of the finest testers ever made. Exceptional in every aspect. Superb with directly heated triodes. The Hickok KS 15874-L2 is a commercial version of the wonderful 118 Cardmatic. In my opinion, and the opinion of many tester experts, this is the best tester that was made by Hickok. A real gem. The Maxi-Matcher is a useful tester for measuring current draw and transconductance at 325/400 plate volts with 5 bias voltage settings. Very good with 6V6s and EL84s, this tester falls a bit short of true operating levels on 6550s, EL34s, 5881s and 7027s. Still much better than most suitcase testers for measuring power pentodes. I do not trust the minimums on this tester and they are therefore not listed. The industry standard by default. Vintage RFT ECC83 tube from the 1960s (12AX7 equivalent). Made in East Germany. Never used! NOS. Price is for 1 tube from bulk box. Pictures show randomly chosen tubes.All tubes were tested on my electronic tube tester (Orange VT-1000) and their test result is Good. I guarantee they work properly. If the tube is faulty, you will get a refund or a replacement. Tubes are in excellent cosmetic shape. Labels are intact! All these tubes are marked first quality (1 in triangle). Many of them have additional, original letter markings, e.g.: r, n, d (below quality triangle). Sorry, I dont know what these letters mean. Google doesnt know either. I bet it was factory special selection. RFT ECC83 is slightly darker sounding than many others 12AX7/ECC83 tubes, which makes it perfect for overdrive channel of guitar amp. I use it myself and I love its sound. Perfect tube for guitar amps like Marshall, Ampeg VL or Mesa. You can read more about this tube on the web. RFT ECC83 receives great reviews. In my opinion, description of this tube from thetubestore.com is very accurate: The RFT ECC83 / 12AX7 is a durable tube with very low microphonics.
