YAMAHA C-50 natural sound stereo control amplifier/Preamplifier.Working, excellent sound.NO REMOTE OR MANUAL.Made in Japan.Made in Japan with black aluminum face and knobs. 8 analog audio inputs (including 3 phono) with 2 out. Phono inputs and preamp outputs are gold plated connections. Phono has selectable capacitance and gain for perfect cartridge matching. Bass and treble controls each have sweepable turnover frequencies (basically a parametric eq which is great!). Tone defeat and subsonic filter. Rec out selector. Super high audio specs with a frequency response from 1hZ to 100Khz and Total harmonic distortion less than 0.001%.There are two issues of note with this unit. The balance control has broken and been removed. The unit is preset inside for perfect left/right balance (This is really not an operational issue, since most people leave the balance control centered anyway and never even touch it.) Also, the Aux 1/Aux 2 selector plate was lost and replaced with Phono/Tuner (making two control switch plates now saying the same thing) The input selection control itself works perfect, but the labeling is now wrong for those two input selections (see pic). Other than that, this unit is super clean inside, provides critically fine adjustments to your audio sound and turntable cartridge matching, is made of very high quality components and simply sounds fantastic.

Thoroughly tested and in perfect working conditions. The photographs are the official cosmetic description of the item. Includes the unit it’s antenna and power cord. Nothing else is included. I used it as a pre-amplifier streamer and in my opinion, it sounds phenomenal specially when using FLAC files on a flash drive. Connecting to the WIFI or network was a piece of cake following the steps on the the Yamaha Musicast application. Also, very easy to connect to iPhone using Bluetooth . Amazing versatility in my opinion specially, for the price range. Absolutely beautiful and I love the fact that you can just connect to an amplifier and use it as a preamplifier with all the streaming and connection capabilities. And in my opinion, it sounds absolutely beautiful and much better that what I expected from such a modest unit. I am an honest individual selling on eBay now for 20 years and customer satisfaction is more important than the money that I can obtain by selling the item however, due to the high cost of shipping the fragile nature of Electronics incompetent installers, equipment, abusers and dishonest parts swappers I am terribly sorry, but I do not accept returns under any circumstances whatsoever unless the item was not accurately describe.
