These are new speakers that are barely used. They were inherited from my father and I need them gone. I used them only a few times and there are a few light surfaces scratches on them but they are not noticeable unless you are looking for them. Otherwise they produce a great sound. Sometimes big box stores totally screw things up...and you wind up with speakers to sell. Anyways, these are open box (I bought new) and indistinguishable from new. Primary reason for selling is I should have guessed theyre just too big for my studio apartment. I did test for 5 seconds to make sure they worked. Wow, Yamaha does a great job with a neutral sound...maybe the best Ive ever heard at making you think the instruments and vocals are in the room. Id prefer a sub with these, but some would be just fine as-is.
