For sale is a great condition Yamaha M-80. There are scratches here and there due to its age and vintage item. The power rating is 250 watts @ 8ohms and everything is functional except for the SPEAKER C and SPEAKER A do not work. Only the pair of SPEAKER B does work perfectly. If you look at the back view picture of the M-80, the RED color square box is the SPEAKER B set and that is the set you want to use for listening to 2 channel stereo (Left and Right). All speaker connections on the back were custom installed so I can use banana plugs. And the 3 RED lights at the bottom of the red meter do not work (please see the 3rd picture with the 3 red square shapes). The red meter do work normally. Return: 14 day return. NO RSERVE AUCTION - Yamaha DSP-E580 Digital Sound Field Processing amplifier. This component was one way you can create a surround sound setup around your two channel stereo system. Just run a pair of RCA cables from your CD or DVD player into it and it will digitally synthesized the signal into a pseudo five channel sound. You just need to hook up a center channel speaker and a pair of surrounds to the Yamahas speaker outputs and your system is suddenly transformed into a five channel setup. This unit is being SOLD AS-IS FOR PARTS OR REPAIRS because the center channel speaker out is emitting no sound. Not too sure if if is a setting issue or a hardware issue but the surround sound speaker outputs works just fine. Remote has a few worn out rubber buttons but works when pressed.
