CONTINENTAL US SHIPPING ONLY... This has been a great amp that was rarely used. I sold it on eBay a few weeks ago and when it arrived to the buyer it did not work properly. I issued a refund and he returned it to me. Box and amp look fine but apparently something happened in shipping. Display and remote function normal but no sound from left channel and reduced sound from right. I have two choices, send it back to Wyred for repair or sell as is. I will put it up with hopes maybe someone with technical ability will be interested. If it doesnt sell I will send it back for repair. Comes with remote and power cord. BTW, I have sent another amp back to Wyred in the past and they were excellent in repair and price.

This DAC is also a preamp. It sounds fantastic and made in the USA.. Built to last. The DAC-2 is Wyred 4 Sounds flagship effort, though it sells direct for a very un-reference price of $1,499. Available in your choice of black or silver, the DAC-2 is a handsomely unassuming piece that looks far better in person than it does in photographs. Its also larger in person than it seems in photographs, measuring eight-and-a-half inches wide by a little over four inches tall and 13.5 inches deep. It isnt light, either, tipping the scales at 16 pounds, which for a DAC might as well be 100. Still, its construction is solid, its connection options, which Ill get to in a second, are of a high quality and its feature set is more akin to what youd expect from a preamp than your run of the mill DAC. Theres a reason for this, of course: its because the DAC-2 is also a preamp.As for input/output options, the DAC-2 has two coaxial digital inputs, two optical audio inputs, one AES/EBU input, one 1S2 input (via non-standard HDMI cable) and a 24-bit, 192kHz Asynchronous USB input. Wyred 4 Sound STP-SE Stage 2 Stereo Preamplifier (excellent). This listing is for the Wyred 4 Sound STP-SE Preamplifier with the stage 2 factory upgrade shown in the photos. This is the top-of-the-line preamp, with the highest upgrade possible from the factory. I purchased the preamp new from WFS, and sent it back later for the upgrade. This is by far the best preamp I have ever had, and one of the best I have ever heard, and I have heard a lot! There are reviews online about this unit if you are not familiar. The physical condition is near flawless, and it performs, and functions as new. It comes with the factory remote that works, but it has the rubberized finish that tends to get sticky over time.
