This Woo Audio WA6 has some seriously upgraded tubes. The big rectifier tube is substituted with a Sophia Electric 27B (long grid) tube, which is known as a very sweet sounding tube. The smaller tubes are very rare Raytheon EM7/15EA7 tubes with tube adapters. I did a lot of research to select these tubes. This headphone amp with these tubes sounds magnificent. I am a hobbyist, and I am building a headphone amp that I will be replacing this with. These tube upgrades cost me over $300, and they have been used very little. I am a perfectionist. I baby my equipment. I promise that the unit is cosmetically 100% perfect. Any imperfections in the, sorry, lousy photos, are glare.
