Plays 8 tracks perfect speakers are clear not busted, balance, volume, tone, switches for am, fm, tape, all work, switches songs on tapes fine. Powers on and off fine, antenna is loose and comes out but is loose but picks up stations just fine. Cosmically you may see some light scratches or paint marks on machine. Please see all pictures for your judgment. Amazing piece of Americana to add to any collection very rare and hard to find working 8 track player.

THIS RADIO HAS A VERY LOW SERIL NUMBER OF JUST 90 MAKING IT ONE OF THE FIRST EVER TO HAVE BEEN MADE!!!! find another with such a low serial number for the price! WELTRON 2001 Space Ball Fm Radio Am Cassette 8 Tracks Vintage Design. Great working order, the 8 track belt was replaced a couple of years ago, no cracks or damage, aerial is perfect, this item is for collection only.

Up for sale is a Weltron model 2001 Space Ball AM/FM radio with built-in 8 track tape player. Ive added a video below that shows it playing. The 8 track deck works fine and I do get in some AM and FM stations with it. Please view all the pictures of the unit as the cosmetics are not great. I think it would make a great customization or art project. I dont hide anything when selling stuff and this is what Ive seen with the unit. The white plastic cabinet is age yellowed now, there are some scratches and dings here and there (please view pictures), the battery tray has battery acid damage, the power cord was repaired, the chrome bezel and other pieces are pitted, tuning knob cover missing, tiny hairline crack in front of the hanging loop, power and stereo light are out.
