The tonearm on this table is loose and is bent badly, this would be a great candidate for a tonearm swap as the motor runs without issue, speed control knob is missing. The left corners will need some wood glue and clamping. Veneer isn’t in the best condition. Let me know if there are any questions

I am selling separately, without the screws, due to no longer availability of the plate, to be sold separately. The object is perfect on the top and on all four sides, like new. Used for very little. The increase in thickness is not noticed, being originally, at least my specimen, slightly lower than the plate on which it is to be fixed. I sell only in Italy and the EU, with the as is formula. My feedback speaks for itself!

Thorens TD125 MKII Turntable With NOS Grace G-840F Tonearm And Grace F8 Cartridge A stunning example of this highly regarded turntable, Fully working, electronically checked and speeds all recalibrated with a new belt fitted. The plinth has been upgraded to a thicker frame and beautifully veneered in real Rosewood along with the arm board. A new old stock Grace G-840F tonearm is fitted with a sought after well regarded grace F8 Cartridge with original stylus. A thicker baseboard has been fitted to add more rigidity along with aluminium spike feet. Will be expertly dismantled and packaged for delivery( check our feedback) along with instructions to put back together, the platters will be removed along with the tonearm. This ensures no damage during transit but is relatively easy to reassemble as only a screw driver will be required to set up the tonearm. Collection also from Benfleet in Essex . Here we have an UN-USED Thorens TD125 Mk.II Vintage turntable. It is partly boxed, the wife of the now deceased owner used the main box for moving house.. but the box for the plinth and lid remains. It was purchased along with a large amount of other gear (also in our listings) back in the 70’s, but shortly after purching, he became Ill and never unboxed any of the kit.. it was stored in a dry bebroom, where it remained until last week… The sme 3009 that was purchased along side this has already been listed. Along with the un-drilled original armboard, there is also an un-opened original SME board for a 3009 s2 included. The deck has been placed inside of the TX2 plinth, but it hasnt been installed and the cables have not been routed, nor holes drilled in the plinth.The lid hinge has not been installed and the lid has never been unwrapped.Mounting hardare is included. We have not tested it or plugged it in… we think, as this is a basically new old stock, that this should be done by the new owner.Please bare in min that this is 50 year old piece iof electrical equipment and associated problems may arise… waking up on a Variac is strongly advised, if you are intending to use it.Lubrication of the motor is also advised. This is a very rare opitunity to own and assemble a ’New’ Thorens 125… This should be regarded as collectors piece and we do not offer returns on this item.
