There is the tiniest tiniest and I mean tiniest bit of play when you test the bearings by trying to find any bit of play. You will not notice unless you are specifically looking for it, but there is absolute freedom of movement in all planes. I’ve done every test imaginable, The blow test. The light paperweight test and it passed them with flying colors. The sound is glorious. These arms make you realize that most other arm introduce resonance into the sound. These arm just let the music come thru with no unnecessary additional noise. I use the same arm as my reference tonearm. My arm has a little bit more play than this and still sounds superb too. I am not going to tighten the bearings and I will not advice anyone who isn’t a professional to attempt that. The arm is one of those almost perfect audio products. The best thing is it’s adjustable to suite the compliance of your cartridge.

You will not notice unless you are specifically looking for it, but there is absolute freedom of movement in all planes. I’ve done every test imaginable, The blow test. The light paperweight test and it passed them with flying colors. The sound is glorious. These arms make you realize that most other arm introduce resonance into the sound. These arm just let the music come thru with no unnecessary additional noise. I use the same arm as my reference tonearm. My arm has a little bit more play than this and still sounds superb too.
