Technics EPC-205C MkII-L With ESCo Retipped ED2X Stylus. This is an EPC-205C mkII-L cartridge which is mounted in a Technics SH-98 headshell and has a ED2X stylus which was retipped by ESCo with a Paratrace diamond in 2022. The cartridge is fully working, sounds absolutely fine and has been used for less than 30hrs (more like 20hrs max). The mk II-L low output cartridge requires the ED2X stylus to achieve a 2mV output, this cartridge has an original stylus tested and retipped by ESCo with an improved paratrace profile tip. Ein Kabelbruch ist nicht vorhanden. Die Originalhaube wurde poliert, so dass nur feine/kleinere Kratzer und Schleifspuren noch zu sehen sind. Die Haube fällt im geöffneten Zustand nicht herunter, die Halterungen (Lippen) wurden durch stabilere Ersatzteile wieder repariert. Die Nachbaunadel spielt noch ok, sie sollte aber für meinen Geschmack ausgetauscht werden. Eine Abholung wird bevorzugt, Artikel wird allerdings auch versendet. Dafür werde ich den Tonabnehmer, den Plattenteller und das Gegengewicht abmontieren und im Paket separat verpacken. Ich werde mein Bestes tun, den Plattenspieler sachgerecht und sicher zu verpacken, aber es bleibt trotzdem ein Transportrisiko vorhanden, das Käufer:in trägt. From my collection of hifi bits - (please see my other Technics 205C bits for sale): Technics EPC-U205C mk3 cartridge, with good condition Tectron eliptical replacement stylus (about £60 new). The cartridge works very well, sounds great and tracks perfectly, but the original Technics stylus lost its boron cantilever, so this is a genuine Technics body with replacement/after-market stylus.
