Spendor BC1 speakers* in good condition, a pair, with consecutive serial numbers. Unused for 20 years, stored in a dry bedroom. Collect free in person, or could post to buyer, as 2 separate parcels due to weight - postage cost to buyer about £22 total. *This loudspeaker is based on BBC design information. Designed and manufactured in England.

Spendor BC1 Speakers with stands for sale. Sequential serial numbers 22122 and 22123 These speakers have been in storage for some time. I have wired them up to my NAD sound system to check that they are both working. Upon testing I have found thatone speaker is working perfectly. The other one is working, but shortly after switched on, it starts wavering in and out with a tinny sound, hence why I have listed them as parts only. I am not familiar with speaker mechanics and so I cant advise what the problem might be. It might be a quick fix, it might not be. The one that is faulty is the one with the damage to the bottom right hand corner of the face plate and cabinet. So the other one, that is working as it should be, is in better condition. The cabinets show signs of wear, scratches, scuffs, water rings and some paint speckles (these should scrape off easily enough). They look like they have been varnished at some point as well. Please check the photos for further description of exterior condition. I am including a pair of metal speaker stands with the purchase price, as you can see in the pictures they have significant damage to the paintwork and some of the plastic on the ends is chewed (by a previous pet dog). Spendor BC1 Hi-Fi Speakers. My father bought these in, I believe, the early 90s. Theyve been in a pet and smoke-free home ever since. They work and sound good (to my ears at least!) But have a missing Spendor decal , tears to the grille on one side, and lots of marks to the wood. So I will start them off with a low price and sell to the highest bidder with no reserve. Spendor BC1 Speakers. Low Serial Numbers 1054 & 55. For Sale is a pair of Spendor BC1 Speakers with consecutive Serial Numbers 1054 and 1055. They were manufactured circa 1974 and are therefore a very early pair (27000+ pairs of BC1 were produced). They look very original and have their original and sought after Blue Alnico magnets. The cabinets are in very nice almost unmarked condition. The Speakers sound superb. Please see all photographs for condition and ask any questions you may have. UK Shipping Only.
