End Fed Half Wave Antenna Transformer 49:1 NEW COOL DESIGN FT-140-43. Condition is New.I am the builder of this transformer and have tested it extensively on 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters.This size is designed for lower power applications. 80 watts on SSB, 50 watts on CW and 35 watts on digital.I have run these at much higher wattages with no ill effects, but I dont want to overrate these like many other sellers do. (see my other listings for the high power version and QRP version) I have a 66 foot end fed antenna that Im using and have found the SWR across all 4 bands to be 1.5:1 or less! Every transformer I sell has been individually tested to make sure it meets my expectations. I have performed dozens of signal comparisons with my full size G5RV and in the majority of the cases the EFHW was the winner. You can, of course, also use this on 80 meters with a 132 foot wire if desired. It has been my experience that connecting only the antenna wire and nothing else works very well! No Ground, No counterpoise, No Common Mode Choke, only the coax and antenna wire. I personally am using 50 feet of RG8X which works fine. Remember that the coax is part of the antenna, so dont make it too short. If you are in any way dissatisfied with this product just return for full refund (minus shipping). SOTA (Short for State of the Art) Star Sapphire Audiophile Turntable with Vacuum Clamping System Comes with acrylic supermat and SOTA reflex clamp. Integral to the design is the outboard power supply and vacuum unit. This is not a common wall wart but a fully regulated power supply and two-stage vacuum unit. SOTA determinted back in the late 80s that the quality of the incoming AC had a direct determination on the performance of a turntable. Additionally, in the same enclosure is the two-stage vacuum unit. It runs at full power for a period of five seconds, to firmly mate the LP to the platter, then a relay switches the vacuum to maintenance mode to maintain the suction. It attaches to the Star with a proprietary large diameter umbilical cord for supplying power, as well as generic vacuum hose to handle the suction duties.
