This WM-D6C is tested and fully functional. I had it professionally repaired and tested for wow/flutter. New belts, idler tires, and a completely cleaned interior, about $160 total for the repairs. It has some aesthetic issues as you can see in the photos, as does the case. But I assure you after recording multiple full tapes with this beast, its working like a charm. I’m selling alot of my portable players to help afford a new deck (mine finally gave out for good). Looking to get a fair value! I am the original purchaser / owner of this machine and estimate that it has only had some 20 -30 hours of use. I tested the machine today: it works perfectly: the recording is excellent, the volume level of sound is good, similar to that of a normal Sony portable cassette player, and there are no crackles or other extraneous noises. All elements are original – no belts or other components have been replaced. The battery compartment is clean.
