Up for bid is a Sony Recording Walkman WM-F46 - Cassette Recorder. It does play tapes but someone had modified it and wired headphones inside. Only 1 side of the headphones work and when you use the port only 1 side of the speakers with there also. The tape I played seemed to play slow so I’m not sure if that’s the Walkman or tape. Because of all of those issues this is being sold AS IS, for parts or repair. Cosmetically it is in pretty good shape with some paint lose. IRREPARABLE Sony Walkman WM-EX677 *READ DESCRIPTION*. The motor inside this Walkman has been destroyed. so it is listed as FOR PARTS ONLY. This Walkman is in okay condition on the outside. This would make for a really cool cosplay piece or would look great sitting on a shelf. It appears that the motherboard works as there is no corrosion on the board or the battery terminals so this could be used as good replacement motherboard. Sony Walkman WM-D6C (For Parts And Spares). I had this walkman for many years, it belong to my late father. I remover that the player was playing fast and then stopped playing. When I press play the player doesn’t make any noise inside. Volume and record volume are working when tested with an external source. The player powers up (as you can see in the picture the red light). The player comes with the original leather case. Battery case is present , and you can see some light corrosion on the contact pin but it’s working when using battery. Please carefully check the player in the pictures before buying. It only records through one Channel There may be other faults Im not sure, but its sold as seen.
